Spent my Christmas Eve at work, and I don’t think I would have liked to spend it anywhere else. My co-workers are some of the kindest, funniest people out. I’ve only worked at GAME for 3 weeks now, so I’m not completely tight with anyone yet but they always make me feel more than welcome. Everyone’s prepared to help me out when my trainee side appears - and happily help me fix my mistakes.
My Manager is somewhere between the Scrooge and the Grinch to our Who’s, but in saying that, like both those characters there’s a nice person under the green exterior!
I came in early with a fresh box of cinnamon dough (do) nut’s and some cards to tell them I appreciate them, and was greeted with hugs and kisses.
Before the day was out I was given a few gifts of my own! Some of which were far to expensive and far to kind! My Manger even surprised me with a box of chocolates.

I like to think I encouraged a little Christmas spirit in the gamestore of ours. A little tinsel, hats and cinnamon was all it took.
Merry Christmas Everyone, I hope your Eve was as good as mine.
So back in April I made this post. And what do you know, I come first in both Art and Drama, second in english extention one and two, and third in Ancient History. That’s 5/6 classes I placed in - easily clearing my New Years Resolution!
Another goal I’d planned for the completeion of school was to sucessfuly get a job (which I’d specificaly hoped would be a Game Store) - which I also managed to do!
So now, I think right now my plans for the new years will have somthing to do with working out a Career path and a higher education. Which I’m proud about. I want to do somthing along the lines of threatre or art theory and art practical, or even become a Special Effects/Makeup artist.
So let’s see how that goes!
Time for work.
